Clinical supervision is available for professionals looking to qualify hours towards licensure, and/or to develop clinical skills.
As therapists, I believe we are the tools of our trade. Our work necessitates that we bring our whole selves to every session. Every clinician, both new and seasoned, benefits from accurate reflection, feedback, and support on their journey.
I have been offering clinical supervision and consultation since 2008. It is my belief that the supervisory process is one in which both parties are actively involved in a collaborative relationship. I have a strong belief in cognitive approaches using the power of self-talk, which promotes journaling and affirmations. Also there is a touch of psychodynamic in me that applies teaching tales and metaphors to address symbolic issues, which can be seen as a form of narrative therapy. I take bits from Carl Rodgers, Milton Erickson, Virginia Satir, Albert Ellis, Alfred Adler, John Gottman, IFS, PACT and evolutionary psychology. I avoid imposing my own style and encourage supervisees to discover their own voice.

My Goals as a Supervisor are:
- To help supervisees have a better (more integrated) sense of the therapeutic process.
- To help supervisees develop principles of best professional practice.
- To help supervisees develop professional confidence and an enhanced ability to act autonomously in their working context.
- To help supervisees explore alternative means of understanding and intervening with particular client issues.
- To help supervisees explore past and present experiences of therapeutic work and to find ways to develop their own unique therapeutic style.
Fee requirements: Fee is $80 per hour.
